To change the time interval of a chart in MetaTrader 5, users must access the Timeframes setting.
The Timeframes setting can be located under the:
1a. Charts tab

1b. By right clicking a chart

2. Once the user left clicks the Timeframes setting they have the ability to select the time frame they wish to display on their chart.
Users can select from a 1, 5, 15, and 30 minute interval or by left clicking the Minutes option, can expand their options and select from a shorter interval.

3. Users can also select from a time interval on an hourly basis. By default 1 and 4 hours are displayed, but by left clicking the Hours option, the user can expand their interval options further.
Upon left clicking the Hours option, users can select from a 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, or 12 hours interval.

4. Finally, users have the ability to select from a Daily, Weekly, or Monthly time interval.
